Dear all,

We have been attacked again… First, our previous Facebook page, nanoyo has been hijacked.. We were in the midst of transferring all our information to our new SmartCoat’s page, but before we were able to complete it, the nanoyo’s page has been hijacked. Then we found that suddenly there are many nanoyo’s page being developed. What could have happened? How could facebook be such so loose in their security? What have they done to block the page without the owners getting known?

Logically speaking, could there be such a coincidence where both are being attacked simultaneously?

Nanoyo, ohh… Nanoyo… Why are you so afraid of SmartCoat? Let me tell you why:

1. Arc Flash Corporation has been in the market even earlier than you… We have been around for 9 years… Our experiences, Kills you! You are just a small time manufacturer with no business ethic

2. We have SmartCoat which is way more superior than you…. In fact, more than 100 times better then you.

3. We have a whole team of R&D people owning a range of a lot of test equipments to test and keep on improving SmartCoat, where you only have a small room to produce your product in which you don’t even dare to show your customers when there are near your so called, LAB. We welcome our customers and any interested parties to take tours in our facilities and judge for themselves how good we are, over you.

4. SmartCoat is an award winning nano tio2 which is light years more advanced than you… You’re nothing at all…

5. Your so called SUPPORT, sucks… Every time we get you to come to support us when we were your previous customer, you screw us up… You made us loose many customers. This shows the amount of experiences you have on field… With that kind of support, how can you distributors depend on you? You’ll screw them too…

6. We own all the profiles and jobs in you, nanoyo…. You have nuts…. All. the application in relation to nanoyo, was done by us… Not you….

7. Why we gave up on you? You pushed us away… You are greedy… Because someone offers you they can buy stock and you want to sell to them direct, you open up our market to the other party without us knowing… How ethical?

We are very confident that if you continue doing such small actions instead of standing up to proof yourselves that we are wrong, you will go nowhere but sitting in your office dealing with such small matters only…

NASA develops a ‘black hole’ for stopping airborne cross-contamination

You’ve likely heard of the mysterious entities known as “black holes” – NASA as well as many scientists worldwide share a theory that black holes in space literally constitute holes in the observable universe from which nothing can ever escape. Any matter that encounters them will be pulled inward by their massive gravity, destroyed and lost to the universe forever.

Here on Earth and until recently, the black hole for destroying airborne cross-contamination in the food processing environment remained elusive using traditional technologies such as fiber filtration. “State of the art” HEPA-fiber filtration was developed for the America’s Nuclear Manhattan Project just before the end of WW II – and yes, some 66 years ago. Through the years, chemical applications and even toxic gases have been offered as solutions.

We all know and readily accept state-of-the-art sanitizers and disinfectants to clean our floors, filter air, treat processing equipment, wash hands, etc. Unfortunately, it is instinctive to disregard what we cannot see, touch, smell or hear; including the ever present flow of airborne cross-contamination of microorganisms and organics as they fall into our products and onto our cleaned surfaces.

The clear and present need within the food industry for a truly GREEN air sanitation solution – not relying on chemicals, random oxidants or filters – has finally been satisfied using a NASA-funded space technology. The technology is unique in providing no lower size limits, whereas former technologies such as HEPA are limited to measuring only particles that exceed 0.1 to 0.3 microns in size. There are no chemicals or toxic gases introduced, keeping operational costs low and protecting employee safety.

Technical Notes: How does it work?

Nano particle Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is the photocatalyst of choice. When TiO2 is irradiated with the UV photons surface bound hydroxyl radicals are formed. Surface bound hydroxyl radicals never become a gas like Ozone (O3). All the elements of the PCO reaction occur within its contained Reactor Bed. No byproducts are produced and no person exposed to adverse chemicals risks. The Photocatalytic reactor is self-cleaning by virtue of the reaction by-products (CO2 and water vapor generated by oxidized organic material on the catalyst surface).

Contrary to Ultraviolet (UV) photons that require extended microbe contact times to be an effective airborne killing device, this technology relies on collisions of microorganisms and organics with its surface bound hydroxyl radicals. Within this system, there can be as much as 177 Cubic Feet (ft.3) of active catalytic surface area that generates billions of hydroxyl radicals. These radicals are awaiting collision with microorganisms or organics that have been pulled into its reactor bed by its fan to be mineralized into CO2 and H2O vapor. Unclean air from the environment is transitioned through the reactor and is replaced with 99% clean air 24/7. This dilution effect drastically reduces microorganisms and organics from becoming airborne cross-contaminates.

Are We Afraid of COMPETITIONS??

We have been in the market for the 8th years now.. We have met a lot of potential partners asking us the same question again and again and again…. DO WE HAVE COMPETITORS in the MARKET? ARE YOU AFRAID OF THEM?
Well, to be frank, we were afraid during our first 2 years in business and we even tried to avoid such question by either keeping quiet or just gently swing the question away….
But now… We will tell you, the more competitors come into the market the better. This is the only way people who have passions in this industry, stirs up the market through education. As you can see, our nano tio2 business is a very technical thing that no laymen can understand it easily. They need to be educated by more players in the market in many different ways.
We, Arc Flash Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd alone cant do the job of educating the public and there’s no government support to promote such a wonderful technology. So the best way is to welcome competitors, but quality ones. There are many impostors of such technologies in the market. Now, these are the people that we are afraid of.

Anyway, back to competitions. We are not afraid of competitors anymore. Why? you may ask….
I think with 8 years of experiences of doing this business in the market, we Arc Flash Corporation does contribute to some trusts in the market that we are giving our customers our best.

Over the years, we have developed so many industries and our customers don’t come to us because we sweet talked them. Its because we really provide them with high end solutions to solve their problems be it in the self cleaning sector or the antimicrobial sector or even the indoor air quality sector.

We would say, no one has done such tests before on actual site. Most of their tests are done in the lab, where they create an ideal environment to test on their own product. To us, this is a way that they lie to themselves, trying to convince themselves that their product works, and at the same time, they do not have the confidence to proof that their product works upon application. This is because, the product may work in a certain way where you want it to work in the lab, but it may change when its being applied onto surfaces.

Nano Coating Using Electrostatic Technology – How it works

Nano coatings are composed of extremely tiny droplets. Electrostatic application of a nano coating employs the law of physics describing the electrostatic interaction between electrically charged objects. This law is behind why metal filings are drawn to a magnet, lint is attracted to your clothes or dust clings to the screen of your television. These are all examples of Coulomb’s law in action – opposite electrical charges attract and “like” charges repel. (These principles of physics were first published in 1783 by French physicist Charles Augustin de Coulomb.)
In numerous commercial, industrial and agricultural spraying operations, electrostatic forces of attraction significantly improve the deposition (coating) of charged droplets onto target surfaces. Such operations include liquid and powder paint coatings, electrostatic precipitation of air pollutants from stacks, electrostatic spraying of agricultural pesticides onto field crops and orchards, xerographic copying, ink-jet printing, textile flocking, and more recently, disinfection, sanitization and decontamination applications.

Droplet Control & Droplet Size

Common to all these electrostatics based operations are droplet control and droplet size. Droplet control consists of first, imparting an appreciable net electrical charge onto the individual droplets (e.g., 5-15 mC/kg charge – to mass), and secondly, propelling the charged droplets to the target surface.
Droplet size is the result of shattering, or atomizing, the jet of spray coating into much smaller droplets. Droplet sizes are measured in microns. The most common term used to describe droplet size is Volume Median Diameter (VMD). VMD refers to the midpoint droplet size (mean), where half of the volume of spray is in droplets smaller, and half of the volume is in droplets larger than the mean. A VMD of 50, for example, indicates that half of the volume is in droplet sizes smaller than 50 microns, and half the volume is in droplet sizes larger than 50 microns.
A micron is 1/1000 millimeter, or about 1/25,000 of an inch. In comparison, a drop of water is about 250 to 300 microns in size, a human hair is about 100 microns in diameter. Droplets 50 microns and less are generally considered to be aerosol droplets. The range and size of droplets in any given spray has tremendous influence on coverage, volume of spray used, retention, and runoff. When droplets greater than 150 microns strike target surfaces, they become flattened, but their kinetic energy is such that they retract and bounce away. Small droplets are better retained as they lack the kinetic energy to overcome surface energy and viscous changes that occur on impact and do not bounce away.

Optimum Droplet Size

The optimum size is generally considered to be between 40 and 100 microns. Droplets in this range cover more surface area, require lower volumes, are less susceptible to bounce back and runoff than those larger than 100 microns. The surface area of a liquid is greatly increased when broken into small droplets. The volume needed to cover target surface decreases proportionally with droplet size. Even small changes in droplet diameter make big differences in droplet weight. An increase in droplet diameter from 150 microns to about 190 microns doubles the droplet weight. An increase in droplet diameter from 150 microns to about 240 microns increases the weight 4 times. Doubling the diameter to 300 microns increases its weight, and also its volume, by 8 times.

Charged vs Uncharged Droplets
When droplets are uncharged, neither the droplets nor the target surface has any influence on the other. Sprayed droplets are principally influenced by forces generated by the spraying device (pressure, air flow) and by external forces of gravity and air drag. Uncharged droplets are more susceptible to air currents in the spraying area while charged droplets are less influenced by air currents.
An electrostatic sprayer induces an electrical charge onto droplets creating an attractive force between charged droplets and targets. This electrostatic force overrides gravity and inertia to pull droplets out of their paths – up, down or sideways – to the closest surface.
To compare influence, the electrostatic force on charged droplets is up to 75 times greater than the force of gravity. Electrostatically charged droplets are also influenced by the sprayer’s mechanical forces, however, once they reach the vicinity of the target, electrostatic forces take over to a very large degree.
In water based coatings, the water carries the electrical charge. Charged sprays, unlike uncharged sprays, resist coalescing into larger droplets both in transit and deposition. As each charged droplet is deposited on a surface, electrical charges balance out at that site, making it no longer attractive to other charged droplets. The droplets following are pulled instead to the rest of the surfaces which remain attractive.

Atomization & Induction Charging
A typical droplet of spray from a conventional air-blast applicator is around 250 microns in size. A typical droplet of spray from an electrostatic sprayer is around 40 microns. In the nozzle of an electrostatic sprayer the coating liquid passes in very close proximity (but does not contact) a positively charged electrode, inducing a negative charge (excess electrons) in the grounded liquid stream. The stream of coating liquid, with its excess electrons, is combined in a shearing action with a near sonic velocity jet of air, shattering (atomizing) the coating liquid into droplets 30 to 40 microns in size.

Shattering the liquid stream breaks the droplets free from the grounded liquid stream and traps the excess of electrons. As the electrically charged droplets exit the nozzle, they create a charged field plume that is strongly attracted to the targeted object. The charge on the atomized droplets remains until discharged on a grounded object or the water content of the droplet evaporates.
Induction charging is based on the principle that a field charge, created within the plume, is presented to a grounded target. It is this field charge the plume creates that really makes an electrostatic sprayer so effective. The charge is small, but the force attracting the coating plume to the target is substantial, up to 75 times the force of gravity.

As the target sits with a neutral potential the proximity of the field charge induces a strong attraction. The droplets actually reverse direction and coat the underside, backside and crevasses of the target, creating an “electrostatic wraparound.” In comparison, a 250 micron droplet simply runs off a target and is largely wasted.

Additionally there is the second half of Coulomb’s Law, that “like” charges repel. Since all of the coating droplets leaving the nozzle have the same charge, they cannot coalesce into large droplets, which again fall off the target. At the same time, the swirling droplets are not attracted to areas already coated and continue to seek out uncovered surface areas until there is uniform coverage (disposition) across the entire target. This results in a consistent, uniform coating, no drips, no runs and no uncoated areas.

What Matters Most
Microscopic organisms are usually hidden in deep cracks and crevasses inside or on the undersides of surface areas, and continue to survive if coverage is spotty. The extraordinary bonding of the coating to the target and the complete, uniform coverage achieved are distinct advantages of Microbecide® electrostatic sprayers. Experience is showing it is not just what is applied but how a coating is applied that matters most.

There has been researches mentioned that nowadays, even the air inside our buildings is worse that the air outside. This is mainly due to the finishes that we have using on our walls and ceilings (eg, paints and glues used on wall papers), floors (eg, materials used on our carpets), open spaces (eg, use of fragrances), washing materials (fragrances detergents) and etc. All the mentioned materials emits VOCs. Most of these VOCs contains harmful gasses that is dangerous to human Heath over a long time.
These danger can’t be seen and felt. The only way we can detect is either by smelling or using VOC testers.

Besides VOCs, even other micro-organic matters like bacteria, virus, molds/fungus and other allergens that we can’t see will harm our health over time. How can we know whether or not our home of offices or even our cars are filled with all these harmful microbes? They cannot be seen and felt as well. Nano tio2 Application at My Little Mandarin House Kindergarden, Bangsar (Malaysia)

When you send your children to child care centers or kindergartens, do you know how clean the premise is, actually? Have you wondered about it? When your child are sick, have you thought of the cleanness in the places where they spends most of their time without you by their sides?

My Little Mandarin House is the first in Malaysia which adopt such a Green Technology in their Kindergarden. It’s lifespan can be as long as 2 to 3 years without any maintenance like plugging it into your power supplies or even changing filters like air purifiers. The invisible coat, when applied onto surfaces, will never change the finishing of the surfaces.

This can aggravate allergies of the sinus, skin and eyes, as well as particularly increase the risk of contagious air-borne diseases such as tuberculosis, SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) and recently, the H1N1 pandemic. However, TiO2 does not decompose or degrade from any resulting chemical reaction due to photo-irradiation. Suitable surfaces within buildings to apply NANOYO would be ceilings and walls, as with car seats, dashboards and side panels in a car surfaces. When TiO2 is exposed to UV radiation from sunlight or any other visible light sources, this maximizes the oxidization capabilities of TiO2 to degrade the harmful micro-organisms in a process similar to photosynthesis, call PHOTOCATALYST. So happened bacteria, virus, mold/fungus and even odor are all organic in nature. This thus produces purified air which is 99.97% bacteria-free, virus-free, mold/fungus-free and also odor-free.

Where nanoYo is suitable to be applied?

NANOYO (photo catalyst) contain high level of Tio2 which has high chemistry stability and non-toxic characteristic. The process of light illumination is able to activate NANOYO to decompose microorganism and virus. It may avoid over using the medication disinfectant products which is possibly to cause the viral mutation. Besides its hassle-free application process, NANOYO is odorless and non-toxic, while being self-disinfectant, self-deodorizing and protecting the treated surfaces from stains after application during its effective treatment period. It does not contain medicinal substances so it will not cause antibody development and reduce the environmental pollution. This technology will enable a safer way for long term sterilization. NANOYO dries almost instantly after being applied onto designated surfaces and forms a nano film, filled with tio2. It is advised that the treated surfaces not be cleaned or affected in any way from interference of other chemical cleaning products for the first day time while the TiO2 is hardening on the treated areas. Base on the analysis report, NANOYO can remove unpleasant smell, eliminated harmful substances, prevent dirt collection, anti-fungal, anti-mold and most important is it will not release the deleterious substances TIO2 has been the top of the list in science studies around the world. With its ability to decompose not only microbes but also many gasses released from compounds be it naturally or industrially, this new concept may be one of the most effective way to protect us from harmful contaminants in the future.
